Apple iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max Models Launched In India At Lower Prices

Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 16 lineup at its Glowtime event, and has introduced the much-anticipated iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max models. These new models feature hardware improvements compared to their predecessors and will support Apple Intelligence capabilities that will be made available via an upcoming iOS update. In a pleasant news for iPhone enthusiasts in India, the Cupertino-headquartered tech giant has announced lower pricing for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro max models in the country, and it is a rare move. It is pertinent to note that Apple iPhone 16 prices remain the same as last year in the US, and for the Indian market, the company has announced reduced prices for the Pro models.

iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max India Prices 

For the Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900 for 128GB variant, with higher capacities available up to 1TB at Rs 1,69,900. In comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro was launched at a higher starting price of Rs 1,34,990 last year. The iPhone 16 Pro Max begins at Rs 1,44,900 for 256GB model, reaching Rs 1,84,900 for the 1TB version, whereas last year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max was set at a higher price of Rs 1,56,990. The Pro models are offered in Black Titanium, Desert Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium.

iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus India Prices

The iPhone 16 starts at Rs 79,900 for 128GB storage, with 256GB and 512GB options priced at Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900, respectively, which are not different from the pricing of last year’s iPhone 15. The iPhone 16 Plus begins at Rs 89,900 for 128GB, Rs 99,900 for 256GB, and Rs 1,19,900 for 512GB. Both models come in Black, Pink, Teal, Ultramarine, and White colours.

iPhone 16 Series Pre-Orders

Pre-orders for all iPhone 16 series models open on September 13, with sales beginning September 20 through Apple’s online store and other retailers in India. Apple is offering promotional discounts with select bank cards, no-cost EMI options along with trade-in deals for customers.
