Although, the pacers had some difficulties in the first session, they came back strong after Lunch as the debutant, Aamer Jamal took four wickets and completed his six-wicket haul which helped his team to seize the Aussies under 500. After coming on to bat, the Pakistani openers batted brilliantly, resisting the swing of the new ball, but Abdullah Shafique was dismissed as he lost his patience. The skipper, Shan Masood helped his team to score some quick runs but could not stick around till Stumps. The onus will be on Imam-ul-Haq to anchor as he has faced a lot of deliveries to judge the pitch. They still have a couple of experienced batters like Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed to light up some hopes for their fans. They will try to sustain the Day 3 sessions without losing many wickets, because that is the only way they can steal the match from Aussie’s pocket.
