Dell Copilot+ AI PC Range Launced In India

Dell Technologies has partnered with industry Qualcomm and Microsoft to introduce a new range of consumer-focused artificial intelligence (AI)-enhanced personal computers (PCs) in the Indian market. These devices, dubbed Copilot+ AI PCs, were unveiled in Indian market. The company’s latest offerings include updates to its XPS and Inspiron series, featuring Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. These new models – specifically the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus – come equipped with advanced AI functionalities.

Apple HomePod Mini In New Blue Colour

Apple has unveiled a fresh addition to its smart speaker lineup with the introduction of the HomePod Mini in a sleek midnight hue. This latest model shares design elements with its larger counterpart, the second-generation HomePod, which debuted in the same colour scheme earlier in 2023. In line with Apple’s commitment to sustainability, the speaker’s exterior is crafted entirely from repurposed mesh fabric. The new HomePod Mini is priced at Rs 10,990 and can be reserved in advance. It will hit the shelves on July 17 in the United States, with availability extending to other markets on July 31.

WhatsApp Launches Favourites Feature

Meta-owned WhatsApp on Tuesday introduced a new feature called “Favourites”, in a bid to enhance user experience. Favourites filter on WhatsApp allows users to quickly access their most important contacts and groups, and streamlining communication with these priority connections. The Favourites feature, which began its rollout on Tuesday, will become available to all WhatsApp users over the next few weeks, the company announced.

Tata Group Inks Rs 27,000 Crore Deal For Semiconductor Plant In Assam

The Assam government has taken a significant step towards establishing a semiconductor facility in Morigaon district of Assam. The state government has inked a agreement with the Tata Group, granting India’s largest conglomerate a long-term lease for a substantial parcel of land exceeding 170 acres, says a report by ET. A new semiconductor manufacturing facility is set to be established at the location of a former paper mill in Morigaon. This project, undertaken by a subsidiary of the Indian conglomerate Tata, brings a substantial investment of around Rs 27,000 crore.
